Windows Could not start the oracle BI Presentation Server on Local Computer Error

Today I encountered the below error when i tried to start my presentation services.

Windows Could not start the oracle BI Presentation Server on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code-1.

steps i followed to start the services

I have installed OBISE1 

1. locate the log file at below location 

F:\oracle\bise1\bidata\web\log

look for the log file with name sawlog0.txt

below is the part of entry i found in log file

Invalid item \\?\F:\oracle\bise1\bidata\web\catalog\bise1\root\system\mktgcache\co%6d1\sawguidstate.atr.

I located the same on my local machine

at below location

F:\oracle\bise1\bidata\web\catalog\bise1\root\system\mktgcache



 

deleted all files and started presentation services.

services started successfully............:)
